FUTURE PROJECTS · PROPOSED EXAMPLES
Future projects
These examples are planned work, not applications available here today. Both would use synthetic data to demonstrate an approach that can be adapted with a client’s team.
Firearms information: a Gold application
Proposed scope: person records, person–firearm relationships, history and an eligibility-review concept using the working name COES. Detailed rules and approval responsibilities remain to be defined; this is not a DOJ-approved system.
Illustrative future walkthrough- PersonFind a synthetic record
- RelationshipsInspect firearms and evidence
- ReviewRecord an authorized determination
For example, a reviewer could open a synthetic person record, inspect a firearm relationship and see conflicting evidence beside its source. The application would bring the file to the reviewer’s desk, not quietly settle the conflict. Oracle rules, Python processes and audit history would support authorized review.
Operational reporting: an Oracle warehouse
“Why does today’s total differ from last month’s?” A future example would let a user follow a report number back through its history to the synthetic source records. Validated Oracle/Python loads, facts and dimensions would make that trail possible. It would illustrate load recovery, data definitions, installation and handoff—capabilities relevant across industries.
