EXPERIENCE TURNED INTO WORKING CAPABILITY
Design & AI
A presentation is not a working system. If a project ends with a slide deck and your staff still cannot run the software, what capability did you gain? My offer connects design to tested software, installation and practical knowledge your team can use.
AI is a power tool; experience still guides the cut. I use ChatGPT and Codex to investigate, compare designs, develop, test and document. I provide the architecture, standards, judgment, mentoring and validation—and remain accountable for the result. Progress is demonstrated through working results and review, not a promised productivity multiplier.
A fixed price defines the bill. What proves the system is ready? Agree on observable results: a load that can be rerun, a screen that follows approved rules, an installer your staff can use. Define acceptance together and demonstrate progress against it.
Business authority stays explicit. AI-assisted development is separate from using AI to process sensitive information or make eligibility decisions. Any such use needs its own approved design. Approved business rules govern the application; authorized staff make determinations.
Hand over the keys—and explain how the engine works. At DOJ, I delivered Bronze and Silver installer packages and helped staff install the software on their own systems. That is the handoff I value: requirements, definitions, tests and operating instructions connected to software people can install and understand.
One influence on this direction is Eric Kimberling’s discussion of the changing consulting model: tools and greater client ownership. This site demonstrates my own approach; employment and project opportunities are both welcome.
