PL/SQL is my superpower.
PL/SQL and SQL are the most common tools used to query and extract data from Oracle relational databases in use today. PL/SQL is the primary language used to create Oracle procedures and functions. It is the only language which directly affects the Oracle database. Because of this connection it is fast, efficient and essential to know well if Oracle data is being manipulated. In this book I am going to explore PL/SQL and some examples of how it can be used. This is not a “how to” book though I will go into the details of many examples but rather a focused exploration of techniques and tools that I have used over the last 30 years of working with complex Oracle data.
